My Story

As a multilingual, this story develops in French, English, Spanish and Dialectal Arabic.

CHAPTER ONE

  • Born in Paris, France.


  • I studied History and Law at University Panthéon Sorbonne


  • I worked as an asylum jurist for local NGO 


  • Passionate about travelling, I went alone to make the tour of Japan by bicycle (3 months) and I hitchhiked from Paris to Teheran (4 months).


CHAPTER TWO

• After graduating in Law in History, I went to work in the refugee camps in Lebanon, where I co-founded at the NGO INSAN in partnership with the UNHCR, a project that aimed to fight against racism between the host Lebanese community and incoming refugees.
• Oversaw a group of 45 children, 10-14 years old.
• Managed refugee projects and coordinated volunteers for sports events, leisure workshops, and cultural outings.
• Oversaw the financial management of grant applications and budget administration.
• Established 4 strategic partnerships (Najdeh, France Voluntary Lebanon, Basmeh Zeytouna, Baytouna).​​

• For this project I was rewarded and chosen to integrate as a fellow The Institute of Engagement.

CHAPTER THREE

Moved to Egypt to work in social business for a year, where I was the regional coordinator of Yomken, the first crowdsourcing solutions platform in the MENA region. 

• Coordinated the creation of the Yomken platform in Morocco and Jordan.
• Acted as the Head of the Euromed Call for Projects. Managed concept development and project writing. Oversaw the establishment and monitoring of partnerships (notably with Avitem and Anima).
• Coordinated the activities of Yomken Tunisia, Yomken Morocco and Yomken Egypt.

• the "Grand Ecole I.D.E.A" Double Master's Program from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (ranked 5th Engineering School in France) and the EM LYON Business School (ranked 4th Business School in France).

CHAPTER FOUR

• After this experience, I received a grant of 35,000 euros to do the "Grand Ecole I.D.E.A" Double Master's Program from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (ranked 5th Engineering School in France) and the EM LYON Business School (ranked 4th Business School in France).

• Went to IBM as a digital strategy consultant, for finallly becomming an intrapreneur and co-creating IBM France's startup studio offer (7 month) 

• Co-founded Cerso (10 month), an experimental start-up aiming to offer networking opportunities to disadvantaged communities by evening the access to professional opportunities and projects.

CHAPTER FIVE

• Back to my lifelong passion, filming documentaries. 

• â€‹Documentary Director, Investigative Journalist at Nova Production

• Co-directed an investigative short-documentary on the murder of rugby player Federico Martin Aramburu in Paris by a far-right militant. Broadcasted in the program "66 Minutes" (the third most watched French channel).
• Researched and assisted the production of multiple documentaries broadcasted on Arte, France 2, France 5, M6, and LCP.

• Co-directing a 52-minute documentary on migrant child detention programs in France. The project is produced by the United Nations Global Study on Children Deprived of Liberty, and made in partnership with UNICEF France to advocate for a ban on child detention centers.

• Controlled and managed the creative components and form of Radio Nova's live music show "Chambre Noire".

• Founder and Executive Director of ECHO NGO, by combining my background in law and filmmaking, I founded ECHO, a nonprofit media organization that aims to create a bridge between visual storytelling and legal action to engage audiences with social and environmental justice issues.
